This Gorgeous Golden Barrel Cactus was photographed by four (4) year old Mr. JD Boumah. The Golden Barrel Cactus looks like something from my Grandmere’s (Grandma in English) sewing kit! The cool yellow spikes sometimes have flowers and the cactus also grows different fruits. I was born and live in the Las Vegas Desert, just like the Golden Cactus. - Echinacea Flowers Sarah Turek

A Prickly Pear Cactus produces a super sweet fruit called Tuna. It tastes similar to a childhood favorite, Watermelon Bubble Yum bubble gum. This amazing cactus grows in the garden of the Springs Preserve an enchanted wild life and plant area nestled in the heart of Las Vegas, NV. - Old Man Cactus
This Old Man Cactus will live to be 200 years old. Proudly, it displays its “white hair” known as tufts and covers the entire body of the cactus. The marvelous pink flowers, bursting from this cactus, bloom in spring and continue to shine throughout the hot summer season. - Mysterious Mesquite Pods
The Mysterious Mesquite Pods are a terrific treat! Not only do they appear as a beautiful array of rainbow colors swinging from limbs, but the Pods can be used for baking breads or making pancake batter. How wonderful they are to look at and to enjoy.
